The Far West – West Cornwall Guided Tour
Full Day Tour, 1- 4 guests £425 additional passengers £50 per person per day.
This full day tour will start with a visit to the picturesque seaside town of St Ives, once a favourite of artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Bernard Leach and Alfred Wallis. Here you can take a walk around the harbour and maybe visit The Tate St Ives, to see the current art of the region along with its art history.
From here we will take a stunning coastal drive down to far West Cornwall, through the once thriving tin and copper mining areas around St Just and Botallack. After this window into the past, we call at Sennen Cove and after a stroll around maybe have lunch in a 17th century pub or try a proper Cornish pasty along the way. Next, we drive on and pass by Lands End, the most Westerly point in Cornwall and England. Our next stop is a personal favourite of mine, Penberth Cove, followed by a short drive to the quaint fishing village of Mousehole. There will be time here to grab an ice cream and take a walk through the narrow whitewashed streets of the village before getting back into the vehicle, hopefully with time for a photo opportunity overlooking St Michael’s Mount before joining the main roads for the drive back to your accommodation.
